Returns must be sent back within 30 days of delivery in original new condition. Please email first for a returns number. Returns are at customer cost. Refunds are processed on receipt for the value of the order less shipping.

⚠️ Damage in Transit

If specimens are damaged in transit, a store credit for the full value of the specimen less shipping will be provided. Email photos of the specimen in an irreparable condition and any damage to the outer box.

🚨 Lost or Stolen Packages

Packages Marked as Delivered

Once a carrier has updated the tracking status to "Delivered," BugsDirect considers the order fulfilled and is unable to issue refunds or replacements for items that are subsequently lost or stolen. If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package, we recommend:

  • Checking around your property, with neighbours, or in any secure drop locations (e.g. porch, garage, outbuilding).
  • Contacting your carrier directly with your tracking number to open a missing parcel investigation.
  • Filing a report with your local police if you suspect theft.

BugsDirect is not liable for packages confirmed as delivered by the carrier. We strongly recommend selecting a delivery address where someone will be present to receive the parcel, or using a carrier collection point / parcel locker service where available.
